Who is Gonzo?
Gonzo is a writer, cinematographer, and editor who graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May of 2026 with a BA in Film and has worked in over 20 productions in Kansas City, Chicago, and New York City. Their recent projects include serving as the editor for the short film Leather-Bound, which won Best Picture at the Griffon Film Festival in 2025. Their work focuses on documentary and narrative storytelling, emphasizing knowledge and growth through the senses and lived experience to present different perspectives.
